Unable to change barrels

I received my driver along with the barrel upgrade. When I tried to change the barrel, I was unable to insert the ratcheting pin through the hole in the barrel. I also lost the washer, but that was my bad. Anyone else having this problem? Other than this small issue, the driver looks and feels fantastic!
