This is a little different from trawling 19th century patents, unless you count a billion year old invention, but if you could figure out how to make this work at the macro scale, I bet your kickstarter would go wild
This is fascinating, I’ve heard of the concept before, but didn’t know exactly how these little powerhouses actually work! The switching between forward momentum and reverse was my favourite bit, you can kind of imagine it in the minds eye, all those proteins flipping consecutively like a stack of dominos, If we could observe that, I think we’ve found the most satisfying mechanism in the universe!
