November Newsie 🗞️

There’s a chill in the air and the distant aroma of turkey roasting in ovens across the globe (or at least across the US this side of Christmas)… But before we get ahead of ourselves let’s talk MetMo!

This month we’ve been looking at trains and model making (an epic theme, we know). In celebration of such a fine month we’ve been reliving the wonder that is Geoff’s trains. We first mentioned Geoff and his trains on CubeClub in April last year. Geoff is a proud member of the Cambridge Model Engineering Society (and Team MetMo!) and has been building model locomotives for over 40 years. Geoff’s passion IS model trains. Check out his 3 1/2 inch gauge live steam model of an LMS 8F in action!

The Model Making MetMo

By now you should know there’s a MetMo for everything, or at least there will be! Multi Drive is our go-to for all things model making; it’s the perfect multi-tool. If you missed the news, we have new Multi Drive bundle available so you can get more multitools for your money :dollar_banknote:. And if you fancy making your own MetMo model, keep your eyes peeled on the website from next week :eyes:

On the Gram :camera_with_flash:

On that very same topic, a professional model maker tried out our Multi Drive in one of her recent projects. Hannah Lemon is so big in the miniature world that she’s about to feature in a brand new show, The Marvellous Miniature Workshop, airing on BBC One on the 1st December.

Black Friday :shopping_bags:

As Black Friday is almost upon us, you may be wondering if we’ll have anything on offer. Well, the short answer is, yes we will! Are we going to tell you what they are? Of course not! We love a good tease and a wink wink, hint hint. You should know us by now! What we can reveal is, there’ll be a NEW MetMo, along with with some MetMo branded ***********.

You’re welcome.

Get your Pistons, everybody get your Pistons! :loudspeaker:

If you’re partial to a stainless steel Piston, this is your reminder to place your order to get it in time for Christmas! :wrapped_gift: If this is a gift for yourself, we say go for it- we don’t judge here.
