As you may have seen our latest Kickstarter update, we're stoked to announce we've officially started sending out your Multi Drive orders! 🥳 This is a whole month earlier than planned, a milestone we are overjoyed to have reached, but of course wouldn't have been possible without all the hard work of our team.
"When will my order ship?", I hear you ask!
We're doing things in a similar way to our last campaign since it worked so well. For the uninitiated, we'll be fulfilling in order of backer number. This means backer 1 will be the first to be sent out and backer 2712 will be amongst the last. We will note that this should be treated as a rough guide. We try our hardest to keep to it, but some days can get blended. If you have backed the gold Multi Drive, we are just waiting for the last parts to be plated before we send them, so they will be sent in the third week approximately.
We have put this table together for you which shows you what week your order will ship. All you need to know is your backer number, simple as that!

You can see the shipping tracker, which we'll update when we have confirmed shipping dates, but you can sneak a peek at which week of fulfilment your order is in by clicking here.

Assembling
Pressing, stamping, engraving; it's all been going on!
Each Multi Drive getting assembled, surface finished, checked, and tested.

Leather arrival Most of the leather has arrived and everything that has been made so far has surpassed our expectations. The extra time spent stripping the leather thickness down has been well worth it, and the leather's feel is excellent. I can't wait for you to get your hands on it!

Boxing up a finished pack
The final stage, assembling the components! Multi Drive has more individual parts than any other MetMo product we have made, but we were keen to get the full kit of parts all into one box, like a miniature toolbox.

Getting grubby
Something that we took for granted was our humble grub screw, a true MetMo favourite. Our QC process checks most parts at the point of machining these days, apart from low risk parts like off the shelf screws, and that is something we clearly need to re-evaluate!When these screws arrived they were 0.2mm too long leaving them sticking out ever so slightly. We weren't very impressed with that, so we've been busy re-working 4000 screws so they fit the way we want them.

What a difference 0.2mm makes! The above black steel has a fixed grub screw whereas the black aluminium below shows how it was before.
Great that you are ahead of schedule, goog job of the whole team! All components and acesoires look very good, I can't wait getting the into my hands :-).
