I still think a flap/protector for the longest bit extension which would then cover the bits and add a bit of compressible bulk when rolling things up would help --- I'm currently using a folded piece of cardboard, but am going to be looking for a matching piece of leather presently.

William, Good pointI was planning to carry the driver in its case, but it would be better to combine it with the roll as you suggest.
