I've seen that Titaner has launched a wrench that's a kind of multitool, too. But the size is extremely small (for my taste). On the other hand, I find the MetMo Grip (I haven't purchased it; I have the MetMo Drive) beautiful, practical, and very useful.
However, I'm imagining (I don't know if you agree with this, regarding the hypothetical measurements of this pocket tool you propose) that a good size would be 4 inches long. That size allows it to fit comfortably in a pocket and, at the same time, the tool can be held in the whole hand (I'm referring to a "standard" human hand, if you can call it that).
Not too small, like the Titaner tool, nor large (to carry in a pocket) like the MetMo Grip. I wholeheartedly support your idea.
Hey Brandon, That's a very cool idea. We played around with a mini grip a few years ago, but it was when we were developing the Driver, so it never made its way to becoming a prototype. If I remember rightly shrinking down the multi start threads started to get us close to entering the quantum realm they were that small!
I think we can do it though, the trick would be making it robust enough whilst getting enough throw on the mechanism to be semi-useful as a mini grip. Thanks for the suggestion and I'll see what we can do!
Hello, elvislives.
I really think it's an excellent idea.
