Hi,
today i got my Helico MK2 and i'm between fascinated and dissapointed.
Fascinated because it's a really tactile fidget toy, feels good and is fun to play.
Disappointed about the lesser functions compared to the Helico V1 videos. No more spinning like a top. No more turning of just one "roll" while the other is fixed.
And disappointed of the quality. One of the 3-d printed rolls is already - after one hour of playing - kind of loose: the brass inside is moving right to left and vice versa and the 3-d printed surface starts to spinn freely on the brass insert. Or is that the way is meant to be?
MK3 maybe should be made with SS inside, as the brass/black Helico does not look really nice beside SS Grip and SS Cube. To be honest, my "Spur" model looks a little bit like a curler, a hair roller...

I agree the MK2 would benefit greatly if the two MK2 rollers could nest like the original. It is fun using them with my original pair as the two magnets in the MK2 allow for interesting things when paired with the MK1 pair. But it becomes clear to me when playing with the MK2/MK1 together that it would be even better with a magnet in each of the MK1 rollers as well, rather than the single magnet.

Just received mine after an anxious day delay in-waiting. I don't have experience with the Helico v1 to compare. That said, I think the brass insert is supposed to spin freely/independent of the 3d printed part. I got the x-over pack and all of them do this out of the box for me, where I can grip the brass and spin them, 3d printed part moving only. Three of them do have a little side-to-side give, and those appear spin more freely too, but it's super minimal and still feels secure otherwise. I suspect they'll all feel that way after a bit of fidgeting.
